I come from NE Pennsylvania and have seen lots of barns with Pennsylvania Dutch hex signs. My maternal grandfather was PA Dutch (another word for a branch of German immigrants that originally arrived in the late 18th century). This book has many beautiful drawings of the hex signs and I felt it was nice to have a book that is connected to part of my heritage. Drawings are not complicated and well proportioned. Would make great pictures to frame.
